GECKOS ARE THERE FOR ME
THANK YOU JESUS FOR SAVING ME
Back in two thousand and twelve
I had pain I remember it well.
But now because Lord Jesus did save me–
I am free indeed.
Back then I prayed for a day without pain–
A day without pain would be so divine
feeling like a ray of bright sunshine.
Just beaming down below–
and falling softly like snow.
No pain is the goal–but really being HOLY NOW even more so.
for we have to win a lot of lost souls.

“Roses Are Blue Violets Are Red” (Who is this Bird who flies over my head) by Suzae Chevalier
Roses are blue, violets are red
I have loving thoughts of you in my head.
In my heart they have been,
buried deep hiding within.
Roses are red violets are blue
I have good thoughts of you that are true
Please bring me some of your sunshine
I will be with you till the end of time.
Roses are blue violets are red
Who said we will soon wed?

Fishes By The Sea
Grandma’s House
My dear grandma always wrote to me–she loved reading my poetry. She was a great poet herself…she was a great poet like no one else. Remembering how sweet she was to me–Grandma here is a poem for you!
Butterfly, butterfly flying through the air–
flittering here and flittering there.
Landing on a flower just ahead
your wings glow on a flower bed.
I imagine my grandma’s flowers with color
each one is unique, not like the other.
It was in the spring with fragrance everywhere
it was happy times without a care.
Found memories of bread baking in the air
a special time I did share.
with Grandmother who is special and sweet–
she made all kinds of goodies and treats.
Like marsh mellows with fruit and whip topping too
I liked eating it after my dinner was through.
In backyard I did climb a tree
hurt my hand with a twig, I did bleed.
Rushed to the doctors really fast
they put stitches in, they didn’t last.
Memories of the farm I will remember
like Christmas time in December, receiving my Suzy doll with curls and funny times in the barn with the pigs…something my sister can not out live.
Thank you Grandma for believing in me-you are sweet and dear to me.

Storyteller Emma Jean by Suzae Chevalier
Emma Jean has
power to story tell-
she creates stories and she does it well.
Now she told a story I will never forget
she weaves the story with her Missouri accent
which sets the stage
she takes em back to a really young age,
she writes better then famous authors on the page.
Her voice changes in fluctuation and stance
weaving words like a rhythmic dance.
Even though Emma Jean’s gone
I will tell her stories so they will live on.

Emma Jean Hears Walt Disney’s Great Plans
Emma Jean who is storyteller supreme
grew up in Missouri with all beautiful things.
Her dad a doctor invented the kidney dialysis machine—
She would go on doctor house calls before
she was a teen.
In fact Emma Jean was only eight years old—
in California–making it grand.
Swinging on the front porch she did hear—
all stories of her mother’s childhood
these are found memories she held so dear

NYC ADVENTURE
In a limo I did ride
I was traveling just before twilight.
Many people I did see
they all looked happily back at me
I did surprisingly see a nun
then I looked out my window people having fun.
The my limo did stop and the wheels did squeak–
I saw in review mirror profile of me with my sparkling cheek.
I was quite hidden in view people only see my blonde hair
that is true.
I was on my way to my own comedy show which I didn’t know–
that I would be the comedy of my own funny show.
My entourage was patiently waiting outside–
I realize I was out of my limo with nowhere to hide!
Click, click the cameras went
I snuck out of limo to my own comedy event.
It was in NYC at the Apollo
my name lit up in lights like no tomorrow.
I thought no way in all my days
I would I would be on the Apollo stage!
That was just my luck, I heard the alarm and then I woke up.

DEATH OF THE SOUL IS REAL
Death of the soul is real. We are soul, body and spirit. If we are not born again in the spirit we will surely die. Our souls are eternal. We are either in hell for eternity or we are in heaven for eternity. And guess what? We have a spiritual body in heaven. I think I choose to make Jesus Christ my Savior. As Jesus said in John 14:6
6 Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.”
Will You Come To The LORD Jesus who died for you?
Your old body is passing away, and only your spiritual body and soul will be in the next life–heaven or hell. We will have to give an account for how we used our free will to God one day. We can’t help but sin, and God is holy and He wants us to be holy like Him through our LORD Jesus Christ–He’s the only way. On the Judgement day the verdict will be death if you are not Saved by the Lord Jesus Christ who conquered “Death” for all of us. Through Jesus you have eternal life. If you deny Jesus you have eternal death. Death in Hell. Hell is real as the nose on our face. I think all of humanity should be concerned about death and the afterlife and take it more seriously for this is your eternal soul we are talking about. God’s creation scientist can not come close to understanding the supernatural of God. Funny God created the scientists and they too will have to give an account on that day. That day to the Lord Jesus Christ.
Hummingbird Hotel
For it has stories to be told one is about Al Capone.
He stayed with his gang on one of the floors
betting on a team that would have a top score.
Betting on a boxing match
that was played in Chicago
little did anyone literally know.
Many years later I would paint on the sidewalk
just outside–
I was happy and filled with pride.
I was a rogue artist that did not give up–
even when they said there was no more spots.
Now this year the
Hummingbird hotel will be reopened
Thank you Winston
for sharing what you know
and letting be in the Street Painting show.
